My name is Tim Jones and I am an outdoor enthusiast (Hi Tim...little 12-step joke :D). That is pretty much what this blog is about, my adventures and travels that involve the outdoors in some way. Additionally, I include reviews of products I use or am thinking about using on my many adventures.

I used to compete in mountain bike races and currently compete in hare scrambles (which are basically the same exact thing, just with a motorcycle). My wife is a runner, although you probably wouldn't call her avid, but she did run the New York Marathon last November. For our honeymoon, we took a self-guided tour of Costa Rica in 1999 -- for those of you that have been, it's not like there are street signs (at all!) and we did not speak very much Spanish. Needless to say, it was a GRAND adventure for newlyweds. We love Florida (where we live) and enjoy the many outdoor adventures it offers, but we also love to travel to outdoors destinations including, but not limited to Seattle, San Francisco, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Minnesota, North Carolina, Lower Appalachian Range, and so on.
