I had the opportunity to make up for last week's near skunking on the affiliate fishing trip, so I went for it. Definitely made up for it by catching a 26" redfish on a top-water lure -- my biggest ever! This guy fought like crazy, then when I got him to the boat, I saw why -- the treble hooks had snagged him across the back, rather than hooking his mouth. Went on to catch a small 15" flounder. All I needed for my first inshore slam was a trout, but the slack tide had moved in and nothing was biting. Still a great half day of fishing!
We took some video of the trip that you can see below. There's not a lot of discussion, as were using it more as a camera, but you get to see the fish and some beautiful Florida scenery. Enjoy!
